Very nice- I like the movement of this drawing- the way she's frozen mid-step, the way the leaves spiral around her.

Thanks! Much appreciated =)

She was a spur of the moment drawing -- which often seem to be the best kind =D

I often have the same thing happen to me- my spur of the moment drawings when i'm not thinking about drawing are fab- but the drawings I really work on and slave over never wind up looking anywhere as fun as my light hearted doodles.

Ditto. She hit me in the middle of a meeting at work. Sketched up the initial drawing during the meeting, traced over her on Graphics 360 paper to clean her up (when I got home, of course), and badda bing.

Not a big 'winter' fan… I have this whole 'thing' about being warm. I like being warm. Warm good, cold bad.

I know what you mean...as I get older I find myself wondering why, when my ancestors were fleeing religious persecution in Europe, they didn't opt for some place in the Carribean...sure there are hurricanes, volcanos, earthquakes, and the native peoples were rumoured to be cannibals...but it was warm all year round...:)

Well, here in Ohio, our motto is: don't like the weather? wait a minute, it'll change!

Still, shouldn't complain. My in-laws live in Mississippi, where it's 90 Fahrenheit (and HUMID!) for most of the year =) (but they're from Puerto Rico, so…)

here in Winnipeg the motto is: If the mosquito's don't get you, the wind chill will!

Mind you maybe they should change it to: You can't scare me, I live in Winnipeg, Canada's Murder City...I'm all ready terrified!

Some folks I used to work for had a cabin in Canada… said the 'skeeters were big enough to carry off small children.

lol...it's weird but the farther north you go the bigger the biting insects get...my mom and step-dad have a resort lodge about five hundred kms north of here...after their last supper vacation they brought back a photo of a something called a deer fly...the damn thing was nearly 3 inches long...you'd really notice it the mother bit you...:)

Good grief. The biggest the horseflies get around here is about 1/2-3/4 of an inch.

THREE INCHES? Crikey!
